Institute for Field Education (IFE) semester internships in Paris, Marseille or Strasbourg
Image
The UVA French Department has been working with IFE for 30 years, offering unique and high-quality internships to students who wish to spend the fall or spring semesters in Paris, Marseille, or Lyon.
In addition to 6 weeks of coursework that prepares students for full-time French immersion in the workplace, students work closely with IFE staff to co-construct internships that are central to their area of study and pre-professional interests. This includes a range of fields such as medicine and scientific research, museum and cultural work, humanitarian aid, economic development, French and European, and associated think tanks.
