The Department of French is happy to cosponsor the visit of Jazz pianist Damien Groleau, hailing from Charlottesville’s sister city Besançon, France, during his week-long musical residency at the University of Virginia.

On April 23rd, at 8 pm, he will be performing at Old Cabell Hall with John D’Earth and Jazz Vocalist Tina Hashemi

On April 26th at 4 pm, he will offer an informal “Tiny Desk Top” jazz and conversation event – en français!- for students and friends of the French Department at the Maison Française.
