Mélodie Sanchez is a visiting instructor from the École Normale Supérieure in Paris. Before coming to the University of Virginia, Mélodie passed the philosophy agrégation and completed a Master’s Degree at the Sorbonne.

Her research interests include ethics, political philosophy and Ursula K. Le Guin. Other interests include baking French pastries and painting.
