Bonjour !

I am a graduate student in the Department of Arts at the École Normale Supérieure of Paris (ENS). I hold a master’s degree in Film Studies from Université Sorbonne-Nouvelle. I also studied literature, social sciences, and history of arts. My interests in research focus on avant-garde cinema, with a transnational and historical perspective.

Before going in the USA, I also studied and worked in Hungary and Argentina. I taught French to foreign students in an association in 2023-2024, and as Language assistant in the Universidad Nacional de la Plata (Buenos Aires, Argentina) in 2024. I also worked as a volunteer or intern in film festivals ("Cinéma du réel" in Paris, "Récidive" in Orléans).

I want to improve my English and I am learning other languages, like Spanish and (painfully) Hungarian. On the leisure side, I love watching movies (obviously), reading, writing, hiking, biking, and hanging out with friends. I love American literature, like travel or fantastic novels. As for cinema, some of my favourite directors are : Kelly Reichardt, Peter Hutton, Miklós Jancsó, Jean Eustache, Harun Farocki...

I am now teaching French 2020 at UVa.
