Biography

Deborah A. Ogooluwa is a first year PhD candidate. She earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Her research interests lie at the intersection of Francophone literature, translation studies, and women’s studies. Specifically, she explores the literary works of Francophone women writers from West Africa and their English translations, analyzing how language reflects and shapes the social, cultural, and linguistic realities of women in the region.
