Rosa Frank
Doctoral Student
Rosa Frank studied World Languages Education at Penn State before teaching English with the TAPIF program in Nîmes, France. She worked as a museum educator in Boston and later taught high school French for seven years while earning her MA in French Civilization, Culture and Society from Middlebury College. Rosa is interested in the evolving roles of teachers in communities and societies and in the ways that schooling interacts with learners’ identities, especially in colonial and postcolonial contexts. She plans to research representations of teachers and school in French and Francophone literature and media.
